A special thank you to Melbourne Law School Clinic Director Kate Fischer-Doherty and the Graduate Student Association for their continuous support towards this project.
Our library catalogue is constantly expanding and would not be possible without the help of our sponsors. If you have suggestions for books to include or would like to make a generous book donation, please email us at publicinterestlawnetwork@gmail.com.
The ‘Unrequired Reading List’ Library project, launching in Semester 1 of 2022, is the creation of a physical public Interest library space situated on the mezzanine level clinic of Melbourne Law School.
The library will feature academic and literary texts often under-represented in the standard legal curriculum such as feminist, queer and Aboriginal perspectives of the law. We cannot wait to welcome students to our library space to borrow, read, engage and share.
